ALGIERS: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, is participating in the 29th Algiers International Book Fair 2026, being held at the Palais des Expositions (Pine Forest Exhibition Centre) in Algiers under the theme 'Tomorrow Between the Covers of a Book.'
The fair, which runs until November 7, provides Oman with an opportunity to showcase its rich cultural and intellectual heritage, promote Omani publications and strengthen cultural ties with international institutions.
The Omani pavilion features a diverse collection of publications covering literature, intellectual thought, history, language and heritage, alongside selected works from civil society organisations and Omani publishing houses.
The participation also seeks to facilitate cultural exchange, introduce international audiences to Oman’s literary and intellectual landscape, and expand the reach of Omani publications among readers, researchers and cultural enthusiasts.
The pavilion has attracted interest from Algerian visitors keen to discover Omani culture and explore its literary offerings. — ONA
