RNO chief reviews Sea Lion 2026 naval exercise

AL MUSANNAH: Rear Admiral Saif bin Nasser al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), on Tuesday viewed the progress of the annual naval exercise Sea Lion 2026, being executed at Said bin Sultan Naval Base. He was briefed on the execution of the exercise and reviewed the tasks and roles assigned to the participating units and the methods of their implementation within the exercise plan. The exercise forms part of the RNO's annual training plans to maintain the readiness of its fleet and personnel across various naval specialities, in line with the national duties entrusted to it. — ONA
