The results lifted Seeb to four points at the top of the standings, with Salalah on two points and Masirah and Qurayat on one point each.

Seeb maintained their dominance in the second quarter, varying their attacking play and increasing their scoring rate. They added 17 points while limiting Qurayat to seven, taking a commanding 31-9 advantage into the half-time break.
There was no let-up from Seeb after the interval as they continued to press forward and added another 14 points in the third quarter. Their disciplined defence kept Qurayat to just four points during the period, stretching the lead to 45-13.
Qurayat showed greater attacking intent in the fourth quarter and recorded their best scoring return of the match with nine points. Seeb, however, remained firmly in control and responded with 12 points to complete an emphatic 57-22 victory.
SALALAH HOLD OFF MASIRAH
In the second match, Salalah made a winning start to their campaign with a 46-37 victory over Masirah, having built a substantial advantage during the first half before resisting their opponents’ attempted comeback after the interval.
Salalah began brightly and controlled the opening quarter through an effective combination of attacking movement and defensive organisation. Their strong start earned them a 16-5 lead at the end of the first period.
They strengthened their position in the second quarter, capitalising on Masirah’s struggles in attack. Salalah scored another 10 points while conceding only three, establishing a comfortable 26-8 lead by half-time.
Masirah returned with greater purpose in the third quarter and improved their attacking output, scoring 11 points in an effort to reduce the deficit. Salalah remained composed under pressure and added 10 points of their own to enter the final quarter with a 36-19 advantage.
Masirah produced their strongest spell of the match in the fourth quarter, scoring 18 points as they pushed to close the gap. Salalah, however, maintained their balance and responded with 10 points to protect their lead and seal a 46-37 victory.
