Oman begins notifying eligible pilgrims for Hajj 1448 AH

Muscat:The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs begun on Wednesday notifying eligible applicants to perform Hajj during the 1448 AH season, as part of the first eligibility round for the annual pilgrimage.

The notification was announced through the Oman Hajj e-platform, which informed applicants that the process of notifying those eligible to perform Hajj for the upcoming season is now under way.

Meanwhile, the ministry announced full digital and administrative readiness to serve pilgrims from the Sultanate of Oman for the 1448 AH Hajj season. The ministry received 47,551 online applications requesting to perform Hajj next year. It noted that the response was overwhelmingly positive during the 14-day application period, averaging 142 registrations per hour, supported by 24/7 technical and administrative monitoring.
