Information Minister hails Oman Observer as a voice of the nation

MUSCAT: Dr Abdullah bin Nasser al Harrasi, Minister of Information, praised the Oman Observer’s role as a voice of Oman during a visit to the newspaper’s editorial office on Sunday.

He highlighted the newspaper’s important national responsibility and commended the efforts of its editorial team under the leadership of Abdullah al Shueili, Editor-in-Chief.

Addressing the use of artificial intelligence in journalism, the minister stressed that it should not become a substitute for authenticity. He underscored the importance of preserving authentic journalism as newsrooms adopt new technologies.
