Authorities seize kingfish intended for export due to violations

Muscat: The officers from the Inspection Department in North Al Batinah Governorate seized around 500 kg of kingfish intended for export in violation of regulations governing the handling and transport of fish. 
Legal proceedings against the violators are currently underway to safeguard and ensure the sustainability of fisheries resources.
