MUSCAT: Oman Psychiatric Society (OPS) on Saturday organised an awareness event with the participation of resident physicians of the psychiatry programme at the Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB), coinciding with the World Mental Health Day, celebrated on October 10 annually.
The event, held at Al Araimi Boulevard 14, aimed to increase awareness of the importance of mental health and correct misconceptions related to mental disorders.
It included an interactive awareness corner that addressed various topics such as child mental health, mental health in daily life, depression and anxiety, and addiction and recovery. — ONA
