Qurayat, the fifth team to qualify, will have a rest day in the opening round.Qurayat, Al Amerat, Al Shabab, Masirah and Al Bashayer progressed from the first stage, which was contested in a single round-robin format across two groups. The five qualifiers will now compete in one group, playing each other twice on a home-and-away basis.
The opening round carries added importance as the teams look to make a positive start and establish themselves among the early contenders. With more matches and direct meetings between the strongest sides from both groups, consistency will be crucial throughout the second stage.
The first match brings together two of the most prolific teams from the opening phase. Masirah topped Group Two with nine points after winning all three of their matches. They scored 59 goals and conceded only three, underlining their strength at both ends of the court.
Al Amerat finished second in Group One with nine points, one behind leaders Qurayat. They scored 49 goals and conceded nine during the first stage, producing one of the competition’s strongest attacking records.
Both teams will therefore enter the contest aiming to carry their impressive form into the second stage and secure their first three points in the title race.

The evening fixture will see Al Bashayer meet Al Shabab, with both sides seeking a winning start.
Al Bashayer advanced after finishing second in Group Two with six points. They scored 53 goals and conceded only three, earning their place among the five teams still competing for the championship.
