ROP receives new batch of Omani university graduates

 

MUSCAT: Acting in coordination with the Ministry of Labour, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) received a new batch of Omani male and female citizens from among those who hold a bachelor’s degree and wish to begin military training and academic qualification as specialised officer cadets. The training course will be conducted at the Police College in the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences.
The aspirant graduates successfully passed the stages of admission which included general assessment and medical and physical examinations.
The ROP extends its training and educational resources to provide an exemplary environment for grooming generations of competent officers and ensure that they are qualified to serve in different units.
The officers are trained to perform security duties and police tasks with professionalism and proficiency, in accordance with the latest standard curricula at the Police College.
The training includes legal police sciences, research and studies and academic and professional qualifications that are all designed to keep pace with contemporary developments and anticipate future trends within the police system of action.
Key specialisations in the training course include renewable energy engineering, criminology, biology, physics, chemistry, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, the Internet of Things (IoT), automation, software engineering, robotics, mechanical engineering, the management of operations, media coverage and digital design. - ONA
