Attorney General visits Public Prosecution in UAE

ABU DHABI: Nasr bin Khamis al Sawa’ee, Attorney General, paid a visit on Wednesday to the Public Prosecution in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where he met with Hamad bin Saif Al Shamsi, Attorney General of the United Arab Emirates.
This meeting was held on the sidelines of the participation in the 15th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice held in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, aspects of cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates were reviewed, and ways to enhance and develop them were discussed, supporting the exchange of expertise and experiences in areas of common interest and contributing to elevating prosecutorial work.
During the visit, the Attorney General was also briefed on a number of experiences and practices adopted by the Public Prosecution in the United Arab Emirates in the technical field, and the prosecutorial work system's utilisation of modern technologies and artificial intelligence in developing procedures and services, as well as enhancing performance efficiency.
This visit comes in affirmation of the joint keenness to enhance institutional cooperation, exchange expertise, and benefit from modern experiences and practices, supporting efforts to develop the justice system. - ONA
