Muscat: The total number of Omani women owning one or more residential units in 2025 increased by 3% to 75,611 from 73, 151 in 2024. They represent 5% of the total number of Omani women, according to a report released by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
The number of Omani women owning one or more plots of land in 2025 increased by 2 percent to 313,732 from 308,463 in 2024. They represent 21% of the total number of Omani women.
The total number of Omani women owning one or more vehicles in 2025 increased by approximately 4% to 208, 600 compared to the previous year.
A total of 31,808 Omani women were newly appointed in 2025.
As of 2025, 57,316 women were employed as general managers, business and investor managers, 66,380 as specialists in scientific, technical, and humanities subjects, 39,710 as technicians in scientific, technical, and humanities subjects, 52,690 in clerical occupations, 8,868 in sales operations, 18,381 in service occupations, 5,078 in agriculture, animal husbandry, poultry and hunting occupations, 13,174 in industrial, chemical, and food process and 3,543 in basic and auxiliary engineering occupations.
