Development of tourism in Rimal Al Sharqiya on agenda

IBRA: The Municipal Council of Al Sharqiyah North Governorate on Monday held a meeting during which it discussed several topics in the field of domestic development and public services.
Key agenda items included the development of the tourism area in the Rimal Al Sharqiya, as well as the optimum use of the governorate's tourism assets and the promotion of investment projects in the governorate.
The meeting was chaired by Mahmoud bin Yahya al Thuhli, Governor of Al Sharqiyah North, who also heads the Municipal Council.
The meeting looked into an investment plan for establishing food security and livestock projects in the Wilayat of Sinaw.
The Council also addressed challenges related to the road connecting the wilayats of Ibra and Al Mudhaibi and discussed a proposal to install sign boards to facilitate public access to government institutions and service facilities, in addition to an initiative on promoting afforestation in the governorate and enhancing urban facilities.
The Municipal Council laid emphasis on maintaining constant coordination and integration among government departments with the prime objective of ameliorating decision-making related to standards of public service and sustainable economic and tourism development across the wilayats of Al Sharqiyah North Governorate. - ONA
