His Majesty arrives in Angola

 

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik arrived on Thursday evening in the friendly Republic of Angola on a two-day state visit, at the invitation of President João Manuel Lourenço of the Republic of Angola.
Upon His Majesty the Sultan's arrival at Quatro de Fevereiro International Airport in the capital, Luanda, he was received by Tete António, Minister of External Relations and Head of the mission of honour, along with a number of officials.
His Majesty the Sultan then shook hands with the Angolan reception party, passing between two rows of the guard of honour.
An official reception ceremony for His Majesty the Sultan will be held tomorrow “Friday” at the Presidential Palace in the capital, Luanda, where he will meet with President João Manuel Lourenço of the Republic of Angola.
His Majesty the Sultan is accompanied during the visit by high-level official delegation comprising HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Numani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister; Dr Hamed bin Said al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Abdulsalam bin Mohammed al Murshidi, President of Oman Investment Authority; Anwar bin Hilal al Jabri, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion and Abdullah bin Nasser al Rahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Arab Republic of Egypt and non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Angola. — ONA
