Technical work temporarily disrupts some government digital services

MUSCAT: Some services and digital systems at a number of government institutions are currently experiencing temporary disruptions, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology said.

The disruptions are due to technical work aimed at restoring and stabilising the operational environment after some components were affected by limited power outages. This may temporarily restrict access to certain digital services or prevent them from functioning normally.

The ministry said it is coordinating with government institutions and service providers to restore the services, ensure the stability of the operational environment and maintain the continuity of government digital services.

The Unified Government Services Portal is temporarily unavailable due to disruptions affecting some government digital systems, impacting the completion of transactions through the portal.

Specialised teams are working to restore the services and verify their stability.
