AL BURAIMI: Al Buraimi Governorate honoured outstanding General Education Diploma students for the academic year 2025-2026, including students from government and private schools and holders of equivalent certificates who achieved scores of 97 per cent or higher.
The ceremony was held under the auspices of Sayyid Dr Hamad bin Ahmed al Busaidi, Governor of Al Buraimi. In his address, he said the students’ achievement reflects the fruits of their hard work, perseverance and ambition, as well as their capabilities and determination to excel.
He described their success as an important milestone in their educational journey and expressed his appreciation to parents, teachers and administrative staff for their continued efforts and support in helping students overcome challenges and achieve excellence.
The Governor said students are at the heart of the development process and represent a valuable national resource on which Oman relies to build its future.
He wished the students continued success as they embark on their university education and pursue their academic and professional aspirations.
