MUSCAT: A new group of citizens holding a General Education Diploma (GED) has joined the Royal Oman Police (ROP) on Sunday.
The new police recruits have successfully passed the acceptance and evaluation stages in coordination with the Ministry of Labour.
They will undergo training programmes at specialised institutes within the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences, in accordance with the latest approved training curricula, following which they will be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their security duties effectively.
