MUSCAT: The Command of the Sultan's Armed Forces on Tuesday organised a seminar titled 'National Integration between Military and Security Services and Civilian Sectors Amid Geopolitical and Technological Transformations.' It was held under the auspices of Dr Hamed bin Mohammed al Dhawyani, Chairman of the National Records and Archives Authority.
The seminar, held at Al Shafaq Club of the Sultan's Armed Forces, addressed a number of themes centred on strengthening the comprehensive national security system in the Sultanate of Oman and its role in supporting national policies. It also featured an examination of several leading international practices and experiences in the field of national integration, with a view to drawing relevant lessons that align with national requirements.
The event saw the participation of a number of stakeholders from the Ministry of Defence (MoD), the Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF), military and security services, as well as representatives from civil entities and the private sector. This broad participation underscores the importance of enhancing partnership and coordination across various sectors in addressing ongoing and future technological shifts and geopolitical challenges. — ONA
