Iran's Supreme Leader calls for unity among Muslim countries

Iran's supreme leader, ​Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, ​urged Gulf rulers in a written message on Sunday to identify ⁠their 'real enemy', understand ⁠its plans and confront it.
The message, marking the ‌birthday of Islam's ​Prophet Mohammad's ⁠birthday and ​published on Khamenei's ‌Telegram account, also called ​for unity, mutual defence against 'enemies' and cooperation among Muslims worldwide.

He also called on Muslim countries in the region to unite against the United States and Israel, in a written message issued six months on from the start of the Middle East war.

Khamenei has not ‌been seen in ​public since being ​injured ‌in the U.S.-Israeli ⁠airstrikes six months ago that ​launched the war, killing ⁠his ​father and previous supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

'The solution to the problems of the Islamic nations is unity of words, friendship, and cooperation on the path of goodness,' he said, according to his official website.
