Along the coastline of Dhofar Governorate, Al Dahariz beachfront has emerged as a popular seaside destination, combining the beauty of the coast with modern recreational facilities. It attracts visitors and families not only for a day out but also as a regular destination during the Khareef Dhofar Season.
A seaside promenade runs along the beachfront, offering panoramic views of the Arabian Sea.
Cafes, seating areas and open spaces provide visitors with opportunities to relax, enjoy the scenery and spend time with family and friends in a pleasant setting.

Jaafar bin Mohammed Al Fadl, a visitor from Saudi Arabia on his first trip to Dhofar during the Khareef season, praised the beach and its facilities.
“The atmosphere is really beautiful, and the beach is amazing and clean. The place is busy and suitable for sitting, and everything is available,” he said.
For Saif bin Al Luhaimir al Daraie of the UAE, visiting Al Dahariz Beach has become an annual tradition.
“We are here today at Al Dahariz Beach, and honestly, I visit this place every year for all its natural qualities and its cafes. I recommend that every visitor come and see this place,” he said.
Beyond leisure and relaxation, Al Dahariz beachfront also serves as a venue for sporting and cultural activities.

During the Khareef Dhofar Season, the beachfront recently hosted the Omani Traditional Games Season 2026, bringing together clubs from Dhofar Governorate for three days of competitions that showcased traditional Omani games as part of the country’s cultural and sporting heritage.
The event was held under the auspices of Shaikh Tariq bin Khalid al Hinai, Wali of Taqah, adding a cultural dimension to the beachfront’s growing role as a community and tourism destination.
With its sea views, family-friendly facilities, cafes and seasonal events, Al Dahariz beachfront reflects how Oman’s coastal destinations can combine natural beauty with recreation and cultural experiences. Its appeal lies not only in the landscape but also in the variety of activities and experiences that keep visitors returning.
