Oman announces holiday for Prophet’s Birthday

Muscat: Thursday, August 27, 2026, will be an official holiday in the Sultanate of Oman on the occasion of Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday for the year 1448 AH, the Ministry of Labour announced.
The ministry said the holiday date is based on the announcement issued on December 28, 2025, regarding Oman’s national and religious holidays for 2026.
The occasion falls on 12 Rabi Al Awwal 1448 AH.
