Rain batters parts of Al Sharqiyah Governorate

IBRA: Several wilayats of Al Sharqiyah North Governorate witnessed moderate to heavy rains causing flow of several wadis, on Wednesday.

The Wilayat of Ibra experienced moderate to heavy rainfall in the villages of Al Haimah, Qafifah, and Jadya, and surrounding villages, causing several wadis to overflow.

In the Wilayat of Al Mudhaibi, moderate to heavy rainfall was recorded in the Niyabat of Samad Al Shan and surrounding villages, including Al Rawdah, Baad, Khadra Bani Difa’a, Al Ainain, and Al Fatah. In the wilayat’s centre, the rain caused wadis to overflow in Andam, Al Falij, Ghabrat Al Wafi, Al Rawdah and Baad.

The Wilayat of Bidiyah experienced heavy rains on the villages of Al Rakah, Al Wasil and Al Dhahir and the surrounding villages, causing several wadis to overflow.

The Wilayat of Al Qabil experienced rainfall of varying intensities causing the flow of the wadis of Suqa, Al Sarm, Suwa, Shannah, Al Aqidah, and others in the villages of Wadi Nam.

The Wilayat of Dima W’attayeen received light to heavy rainfall causing overflow of Wadi Sumhan, Wadi Al Khabah, Wadi Al Dirah, among others.
