MUSCAT: The Royal Academy of Management (RAM) has opened applications for two online learning programmes designed to strengthen leadership capabilities and foster a culture of continuous learning. Applications for 'Leading Through Strategic Influence and Design Thinking: A Toolkit for Breakthrough Innovation' will be open from August 18 to 30.
The programmes form part of RAM’s wider efforts to equip national talent with the skills and perspectives needed to navigate increasingly complex and fast-changing professional environments. Through flexible, high-quality learning experiences informed by international best practice, RAM continues to support the development of leaders who can drive institutional transformation and contribute to the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
'Leading Through Strategic Influence' is designed for professionals seeking to strengthen their ability to lead, engage and influence effectively across different organisational settings. The programme focuses on leadership presence, team development, strategic communication and the ability to guide teams towards shared organisational priorities. Participants will gain practical approaches that can be applied directly within their workplace to strengthen collaboration, decision-making and leadership impact.
The second programme, 'Design Thinking: A Toolkit for Breakthrough Innovation', introduces participants to practical design-thinking approaches that can be used to address organisational challenges and develop more effective solutions. It focuses on turning ideas into practical outcomes, improving services and processes, and embedding a more innovative and user-centred approach to problem-solving within organisations.
The programmes are intended for middle management in the public and private sectors, as well as professionals in equivalent roles across other sectors. 'Leading Through Strategic Influence' will accommodate 50 participants, while 'Design Thinking: A Toolkit for Breakthrough Innovation' will welcome 100 participants.
Both programmes will be delivered in English through an interactive digital learning environment and in collaboration with leading international universities. The learning experience will combine academic insight with practical application, enabling participants to connect international knowledge and contemporary leadership practices with the realities of their own organisations.
Participants who complete the programmes will receive certificates from the Royal Academy of Management and the respective partner university for each programme.
RAM invites eligible professionals to apply through its registration platform or via its official website between August 18 and 30, 2026. Applicants are encouraged to review the admission requirements and selection criteria applicable to each programme.
Through initiatives of this kind, the Royal Academy of Management continues to expand access to specialised leadership development opportunities that strengthen institutional competitiveness and contribute to the Sultanate of Oman’s sustainable development.
