Oman Air, the national airline of the Sultanate of Oman, is celebrating 25 years of flights between Muscat and Kochi, marking a quarter century of connecting Oman to the heart of Kerala.
Since launching the service in 2001, Oman Air has carried thousands of passengers between the two cities, supporting journeys that have brought families together, enabled business and trade, and strengthened the longstanding ties between Oman and India. Today, it remains one of Oman Air’s strongest-performing routes, with up to 14 flights operating each week, reflecting the sustained demand and enduring importance of the connection.
Ahmed Al Mahrouqi, Vice President Global Sales at Oman Air, said, “Celebrating 25 years of flying to Kochi is a significant milestone for Oman Air and one that reflects the strength and longevity of the relationship between Oman and Kerala, and more broadly, India. As we look ahead, we remain committed to strengthening connectivity between our two countries and delivering the distinctive travel experience our guests expect from Oman Air.”
Oman Air is offering guests travelling from India the opportunity to explore selected destinations across its network with up to 25% off Business Class and up to 10% off Economy Class fares. The sale runs until August 28 and can be availed on the Oman Air website and mobile app.
Meanwhile, India remains a key part of Oman Air’s 49-destination global network with its Muscat-Mumbai route having marked 30 years in 2025.
