Muscat Municipality warns against unauthorised car sale displays

Muscat: Muscat Municipality has urged residents to display vehicles for sale only in designated and approved locations.

The municipality said vehicles displayed in unauthorised areas negatively affect the appearance of neighbourhoods, obstruct the smooth flow of traffic and prevent the optimal use of public facilities.

Under the municipality’s enforcement procedures, a warning sticker will first be placed on the violating vehicle, and its owner will be given a specified period to remove it. Regulatory action will be taken if the owner fails to respond.

The municipality said compliance with the rules would help preserve public facilities and contribute to a better quality of life.
