MSX index inches up

Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 closed higher on Monday, gaining 53.6 points to end 7.349,07, an increase of 0.73 per cent from the previous close of 7.295,45.

Trading value increased by 61.87 per cent to RO 69,380,613 million, compared with RO 42,860,614 million in the previous session. Market Capitalization rose by 0.303 per cent to about RO 27.75 billion.

Non-Omani purchases stood at RO 9,909 million, accounting for 14.28 per cent of total buys, whereas sales reached RO 4,433 million, representing 6.39 per cent. Net non-Omani investment rose by 5,477 million, accounting for 7.89 per cent.
