SALALAH: The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning launched the second edition of Khareef Real Estate Season 2026, reaffirming its commitment to expanding homeownership opportunities and promoting real estate investment while showcasing Oman’s flagship urban developments.
The event, being held at Al Haffa Waterfront in Dhofar Governorate from July 25 to August 5, was inaugurated under the auspices of HH Sayyid Marwan bin Turki al Said, Governor of Dhofar, in the presence of senior government officials, representatives of financial institutions, real estate developers and industry stakeholders.
Timed to coincide with the Khareef Dhofar Season, the exhibition serves as a comprehensive platform for citizens, residents and visitors to explore Oman’s leading residential and investment destinations, while gaining first-hand insights into Oman’s urban development initiatives and housing opportunities.
Sayyid Marwan said the event reflects the nation’s ongoing efforts to showcase Oman’s expanding portfolio of integrated urban developments and investment opportunities, while reinforcing the real estate sector’s role in supporting economic diversification and enhancing quality of life.
He noted that hosting the exhibition during the Khareef season in Dhofar provides an ideal opportunity to introduce visitors to national projects that embody the campaign theme, “Live Oman. Like Nothing Else.” Through integrated communities and future-focused developments, these projects position Oman as an attractive destination to live, invest and build for the future.
Held under the same theme, this year’s edition highlights Oman’s distinctive lifestyle, investor-friendly environment and sustainable urban vision. Visitors can engage directly with specialists to learn about residential projects, financing options, homeownership pathways and investment opportunities, enabling informed decision-making.
The exhibition features several of the ministry’s flagship developments, including Sultan Haitham City, Salalah Future City, Al Jabal Al Aali, Surooh Integrated Communities and Najd Agricultural City.
Interactive presentations provide visitors with an overview of each project’s master plan, residential offerings and long-term investment prospects, alongside financing solutions offered by participating financial institutions.
The event also brings together leading real estate developers, banks and sector partners, creating a one-stop marketplace where visitors can compare projects, explore financing options and receive expert guidance under one roof.
