MUSCAT: The activities of the third edition of the Military Discipline Programme commenced on Sunday at the Military Technological College (MTC) in Muscat Governorate.
Organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth with support from several military, security, and other government entities, the programme features the participation of more than 1,000 students from various governorates across the Sultanate of Oman.
Running until August 19, the programme includes lectures on military discipline and order, first aid, teamwork, leadership methods, and military sciences, alongside various awareness lectures.

The programme also features a variety of sports competitions and specialised workshops on citizenship, belonging, artificial intelligence, and entrepreneurship, aiming to foster modern leadership thinking and hone the personal and social skills of participating students.
It is worth noting that the programme achieved remarkable success in its first and second editions over the past two years. It continues in 2026 with a broader vision through multiple objectives, all focused on a primary goal: building a generation of conscious Omani youth who possess discipline, a spirit of leadership, a sincere sense of belonging to the homeland, and loyalty to the Sultan. — ONA
