The package includes a cybersecurity programme focusing on developing participants' knowledge in information security, raising awareness of cyber threats, and enhancing skills in protecting data and digital systems through practical applications and security incident simulations, keeping pace with the rapid growth in the cybersecurity sector and labour market needs. Additionally, it features a Chinese language course that offers participants the opportunity to acquire language fundamentals and basic communication skills, alongside getting acquainted with Chinese culture, thereby contributing to expanding their educational and professional horizons and opening new opportunities in study and international cooperation.
The offering also encompasses IELTS test training to develop listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills, as well as familiarising participants with the test structure and success strategies through practical exercises and mock tests to enhance their chances of achieving competitive scores. It further includes a career readiness programme focusing on preparing youth for the job market by developing professional communication skills, CV drafting, passing job interviews, and fostering teamwork skills, emotional intelligence, career path planning, and dealing with digital job market requirements. Additionally, a planning and time management programme aims to boost participants' productivity through developing personal planning skills, organising priorities, stress management and building practical habits that help achieve work-life balance, positively impacting performance and achievement.
In line with youth needs, the Center is conducting a digital personal branding that seeks to empower young people to develop a professional digital presence reflecting their skills and professional identity, focusing on content creation, digital reputation management, and leveraging digital platforms to advance professional and entrepreneurial opportunities, in addition to an AI-powered social media account management programme.
The Center also offers a basics of agriculture programme for individuals with Down syndrome, which is a practical programme aimed at introducing participants to the basics of modern agriculture through interactive activities that contribute to developing life and motor skills, and enhancing self-confidence and teamwork. Coinciding with the summer programmes, the Center is also conducting during this period the 3rd edition of the EV-Pro Electric Vehicle Experience Camp in cooperation with Shell Oman Marketing Company to empower Omani youth in the fields of electric vehicles and environmental sustainability.
Additionally, it is holding the AI Agent Development Camp to enable participants to develop technical solutions addressing real-world challenges in the Omani market, culminating in building a displayable, scalable, and testable Minimum Viable Product (MVP) prototype through utilising modern AI tools and technologies under the supervision and guidance of experts and mentors, in cooperation with the SMEs Development Authority “Riyada”. — ONA
