Two drivers booked for speeding at 200 km/h: ROP

With the help of speed cameras, the Directorate General of Traffic (ROP) stopped two drivers who exceeded 200 km/h on Sultan Said bin Taimur Road heading towards Dhofar Governorate.
Necessary legal procedures have been initiated against them.
The Royal Oman Police (ROP) said that it is continuously monitoring the traffic on various roads through patrols and speed cameras, which help to reprimand and fine drivers who violate traffic regulations, especially by committing speed violations.
