Al Awabi roads authority conducts road repairs

AL AWABI: The Roads Department in Al Batinah South Governorate began repair work on a damaged section of a road in Wadi Bani Kharous in the Wilayat of Al Awabi.
This followed the emergence of a bulge in a section of the road prompting a visit by members of the Al Awabi Municipal Council and engineers from the Roads Department after receiving reports from citizens regarding the road’s condition.
The technical team removed the affected section and repaired the bulge according to approved technical procedures before rehabilitating and paving it to ensure the road’s efficiency.
Eng Ahmed al Adawi, Director of the Roads Department in the Al Batinah South Governorate, said that the technical teams dealt with the situation immediately upon arriving at the site, adding that bulges happen frequently in some roads due to technical or environmental factors, and are dealt with according to appropriate engineering solutions after conducting technical inspection.
