MUSCAT: The annual strategic exercise Decision-making 13, carried out by the National Defence College at the Academy of Strategic and Defence Studies, concluded on Tuesday.
The exercise was conducted by the participants of the 13th National Defence Course from various military, security, and civilian entities. The exercise was held under the auspices of Lt Gen Said bin Ali al Hilali, Head of the Internal Security Service.
Lt Gen Al Hilali was briefed on the exercise and viewed a presentation outlining its phases, objectives and lessons learned. They toured the exercise cells, observed their tasks and learned about the results achieved.
The event was attended by Vice Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), Rear Admiral Saif bin Nasser al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), Maj Gen Hamid bin Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies (ASDS), Major General Abdullah bin Ali al Harthy, Assistant Inspector General of Police, Customs for Operations, and a number of senior officers from the military and security services, as well as members of the academic and administrative staff and advisers in the exercise.
