BAKU: The National Centre for Financial Information signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with the Joint Financial Intelligence Unit of Hong Kong (People's Republic of China) and the Anti-Money Laundering Council of the Republic of the Philippines. This took place on the sidelines of the Egmont Group Plenary Meeting being held in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan.
These MoUs are designed to define the frameworks for joint collaboration and coordinate efforts towards the exchange of information, expertise and best practices in the fields of combating money laundering, terrorist financing and proliferation financing. The MoUs were signed by Colonel Juma bin Mattar al Thuhli, Chief Executive Officer of the National Centre for Financial Information. — ONA
