Omani Delegation attends former Iranian Leader's Funeral

Tehran: Under the directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, an official Omani delegation led by Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council, attended the funeral of former Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, held at the Grand Mosque in Tehran.

During the ceremony, Sheikh Abdulmalik conveyed the condolences of His Majesty to the Iranian leadership over the passing.

The delegation also included Dr Mohammed bin Said al Maamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs; Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs; and Sayyid Yarub bin Qahtan al Busaidi, Oman's Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
