National Committee for Emergency Management meets

MUSCAT: The National Committee for Emergency Management held a meeting, chaired by Lt Gen Hasan bin Mohsin al Shraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs and Chairman of the National Committee for Emergency Management.
During the meeting, the Committee reviewed its ongoing activities and followed up on the implementation of this year's annual plan.
Discussions also addressed a number of topics pertaining to mechanisms for developing and enhancing the efficiency of the national emergency management system.
Lt Gen Al Shraiqi commended the advanced level of coordination and integration among the Committee's sectors and sub-committees. This, he affirmed, contributes to strengthening efficiency and responsiveness. He also praised the cooperation of the community with the Committee, which constitutes a fundamental pillar in facilitating the performance of the emergency management system's duties and the achievement of its objectives. - ONA
