Mango extravaganza activities kick off

SUHAR: The activities of the Mango Extravaganza 2026 commenced on Tuesday in the Wilayat of Suhar, Al Batinah North Governorate.
The three-day event is organised by the Office of the Wali of Suhar in cooperation with the Directorate-General of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources in Al Batinah North, with the participation of a number of farmers from various wilayats of the governorate.
The launch of the extravaganza was held under the auspices of Mohammed bin Sulaiman al Kindi, Governor of Al Batinah North.
Shaikh Saud bin Mohammed al Hinai, Wali of Suhar, explained that organising the extravaganza comes within the framework of efforts aimed at supporting the agricultural sector, enhancing the status of the Omani mango crop, highlighting the quality and diversity of agricultural production in the governorate, encouraging farmers and productive families to market their products, and opening new horizons for promoting local products. - ONA
