Sayyid Theyazin receives State Council chairman, bureau members

 

Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, along with a number of their Highnesses and Excellencies members of the Council of Ministers, received Shaikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council, and members of the State Council Bureau at the Council of Ministers building in Muscat on Tuesday.

A joint meeting was held to strengthen cooperation and continuous coordination between the Council of Ministers, the Council of Oman and all state institutions.

At the beginning of the meeting, HH Sayyid Theyazin praised the efforts made by the State Council in various fields and its national roles in supporting the comprehensive development march and strengthening institutional work in a way that serves the public interest.

He affirmed that the Council of Ministers always welcomes the proposals, views and studies presented by the State Council.

Shaikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah al Khalili and members of the State Council Bureau expressed their appreciation for the efforts made by the Council of Ministers in promoting a culture of joint work and strengthening continuous cooperation.

They said such cooperation contributes to unifying and integrating efforts, enhancing institutional performance and positively serving the country and its development goals.

During the meeting, a number of topics were reviewed, including the role of sectoral strategies in promoting development in the governorates. Constructive views were also exchanged on matters that would enhance ongoing efforts and serve the public interest.
