Finance Minister, IMF Executive Director discuss ties

MUSCAT: Sultan bin Salim al Habsi, Minister of Finance, met on Monday with Dr Mohammed bin Ahmed Maait, Executive Director of Arab countries and the Maldives at the International Monetary Fund, to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation between the two sides.
The meeting addressed issues of mutual interest, with an exchange of views on global and regional economic and financial developments and prospects.
Discussions also focused on enhancing joint cooperation in technical assistance, capacity building and the development of financial and economic expertise. - ONA
