Unregulated livestock stalls removed in Salalah clean-up campaign

Salalah: As part of its ongoing efforts to safeguard public health and enhance the city's urban appearance, Dhofar Municipality carried out a field campaign to remove unregulated livestock selling sites and related violations surrounding the livestock market in Salalah.

The campaign included the removal of unregulated structures and visual distortions, comprehensive cleaning of the area, and the implementation of disinfection and sanitisation measures. The initiative aims to provide a healthier and safer environment while maintaining public order in the area.

Dhofar Municipality affirmed that it will continue its inspection and field campaigns to curb violations and strengthen compliance with health and regulatory requirements. The municipality said these efforts are intended to protect public health, serve the public interest and preserve the city's civilised appearance.
