Al Jabal Al Akhdhar Festival enhances tourism, economic activity

NIZWA: Al Jabal Al Akhdhar Festival 2026 in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate contributes to the enhancement of tourism and economic activity within the governorate.
The festival’s events will commence on July 15 and continue until the end of August, as part of ongoing efforts to leverage the natural and environmental assets that distinguish the Wilayat of Al Jabal Al Akhdhar during the summer season.
The festival stands as one of the premier tourism seasons in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, building upon the reputation that the Wilayat of Al Jabal Al Akhdhar has earned as a leading tourist destination at both the local and regional levels.
It also benefits from the ongoing developmental and investment projects that are helping to enhance the tourism offering and strengthen the wilayat's appeal to visitors and investors alike.
The governorate, in collaboration with various public and private entities, is finalising the organisational, technical and operational preparations for the festival.
These include ensuring the readiness of event venues, public facilities, and support services to guarantee an integrated tourism experience for visitors throughout the festival period.
