600 jobs available in the private sector

MUSCAT: The Ministry of Labour announced the availability of 600 job vacancies in private sector institutions in the Muscat Governorate, on Saturday.
This is part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to boost employment, increase job rates, and enable job-seekers to access the labour market and contribute to supporting economic development.
The Ministry of Labour said that the available job opportunities span several economic sectors and diverse professional fields, providing job-seekers with broader opportunities to compete for available positions based on their academic qualifications and practical experience.
The jobs available encompass various educational qualifications, from Bachelor’s degree holders and diploma holders to those with post-diploma qualifications, including general diploma holders and below. This reflects the ministry’s commitment to accommodating diverse categories of job-seekers and providing them with suitable opportunities.
The ministry noted that the announcement was made in coordination with private sector institutions, within the framework of programmes and initiatives aimed at enhancing the partnership between the public and private sectors in the field of employment, increasing Omanisation rates in various economic activities, and meeting institutions’ need for qualified national workforce capable of contributing to the development of work environments and achieving growth and productivity targets.
The ministry indicated that these efforts fall within its plans aimed at creating sustainable job opportunities for citizens and enhancing the alignment of education and training outputs with the actual requirements of the labour market, thus contributing to preparing and qualifying national talent and enabling its integration into various professional and specialised sectors.
The Ministry of Labour called on job seekers to review the details of the announced positions through official channels, familiarise themselves with the job requirements and qualifications needed for each opportunity, and complete the registration procedures within the specified deadlines.
