Oman launches package for investors with pre-purchase pacts

The Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion (MOCIIP) has launched a package of Investment opportunities enhanced by guaranteed purchases at a certain percentage for local investors and the international community.
The contract mechanism is adopted pre-procurement, with entities committed to purchasing part or all of the project's outputs in accordance with predetermined agreements, which gives the investor greater clarity about future financial flows. It enhances the project's ability to access funding and attract strategic partnerships.
The package includes several opportunities across various industrial and health production sectors, prepared based on technical and economic studies that account for local demand and export expansion opportunities, and provides clear operating models and contracting mechanisms that support the project's long-term stability.
The package includes several qualitative industrial investment opportunities, including a factory project for the manufacture of refrigerators on a 10,000-square-meter area, with an investment value of RO6.545 million, focusing on the production of Domestic, commercial, and industrial refrigerators.
The package includes a textile factory on an area of 10,000 square meters, with a value of RO4.608 million, to promote domestic manufacturing and reduce dependence on imports.
It also includes a factory project for computers and accessories with an investment value of RO6.152 million, and on an area of 10,000 square meters, to support digital transformation and meet the growing demand for modern technologies, and a factory project for stationery and stationery worth RO2.5 million, and on an area of 5,000 square meters for the production of various paper and office products.
