EID AL ADHA PRAYER IN DIBBA

DIBBA: Sayyid Faisal bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, Governor of Musandam, performed the Eid Al Adha prayer at the Sultan Qaboos Mosque in the Wilayat of Dibba, in the presence of a number of dignitaries, officials, sheikhs and elders, along with a group of citizens and residents.
The sermon began with praise and glorification of Almighty God for His blessings and bounties, highlighting many meanings and lessons, and calling for the glorification of the rites of Allah.
The sermon stressed the importance of honoring parents, maintaining kinship ties, and strengthening family and social values, citing the Prophet Muhammad’s saying, “The best of you are those who are best to their families,” and its impact in fostering respect and love within families and society. It also called for noble character, cooperation in good deeds, and the use of kind words that strengthen social bonds and build a cohesive and aware generation.
Meanwhile, Taher bin Mabkhout Al Junaibi, Governor of Al Dhahirah, performed the Eid Al Adha prayer at the Eid prayer ground in the Wilayat of Ibri, in the presence of a number of dignitaries, officials, sheikhs, elders and residents.
The prayer was led by Sami bin Khamis Al Mujrafi, imam of the Sultan Qaboos Mosque in Ibri, who said the occasion of Eid embodies the highest meanings of compassion and communication, reflecting society in its finest form and highlighting noble conduct and acts of kindness. - ONA
