Pakistan's foreign minister says 'meaningful progress' achieved in US-Iran negotiations

 


 Pakistan's Foreign Minister ​Ishaq ​Dar said on Sunday 'meaningful progress' had been achieved in ⁠U.S. and Iran negotiations, ⁠offering grounds for optimism that a positive ‌and durable ​outcome ⁠is within ​reach.
Earlier in the ‌day, Pakistan's ​Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated U.S. President Donald Trump for ‌what he ​described as 'extraordinary efforts' to ​pursue ‌peace, adding ⁠that Pakistan remained committed ​to continuing talks ⁠and ​hoped to host the next round soon.
