Gaza flotilla activists in Istanbul

Activists from the Gaza-bound Global Sumud Flotilla, detained by Israeli forces after their vessels were intercepted in international waters in the Mediterranean, disembark a plane upon arrival at Istanbul Airport, Türkiye, on Thursday. The 422 activists, among them 85 Turkish nationals, were flown from southern Israel on three planes chartered by Ankara, Turkish foreign ministry sources said. — Reuters
