37 arrested in Muscat for labor and residency violations

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has announced the arrest of 37 foreign nationals in Muscat Governorate for violating the Sultanate's labor and foreign residency laws.
The targeted enforcement operation was executed by the Muscat Governorate Police Command, working in direct coordination and cooperation with the Al-Seeb Special Police Task Unit.
According to the official statement released by the authorities, the group of detained individuals consists of 30 women and seven men, all belonging to various Asian and African nationalities.
The Royal Oman Police confirmed that the individuals were apprehended for non-compliance with the established Labor Law and the Law on the Residency of Foreigners. Legal procedures are currently being completed against all of the accused parties.
