Sayyid Badr discusses regional developments with Estonian, Dutch counterparts

MUSCAT: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, on Tuesday received a telephone call from Margus Tsahkna, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia.
During the telephonic conversation, the two ministers discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation between Oman and Estonia.
Sayyid Badr and his Estonian counterpart also exchanged views about current regional and international issues. They stressed the need to continue coordination, consultation and support for political initiatives aimed at containing crises and resolving them through dialogue in a manner that consolidates pillars of security, stability and peace.
Sayyid Badr also conferred, in a phone call, with Tom Berendsen, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. During the telephonic conversation, Sayyid Badr and the Dutch minister discussed relations between the two friendly countries, as well as opportunities for developing bilateral cooperation, notably in the fields of transport and logistics.
Sayyid Badr and the Dutch minister also exchanged views about current conditions in the region. They discussed efforts being made to address the challenges that emanate from the disruption of maritime navigation. They underlined the importance of devising consensual solutions that meet the legitimate aspirations of all parties and contribute to the resumption of supply chains and the backing of the global economy. - ONA
