MUSCAT: The Sultan Qaboos Higher Centre for Culture and Science announced the addition of two new centres for the preliminary qualifiers of the Sultan Qaboos Holy Quran Competition in its 34th edition.
The new centres are located in the wilayats of Al Jabal Al Akhdhar and Dima W'attayeen.
Yousef bin Mohammed al Balushi, Deputy Head of the Preliminary and Final Qualifying Committees for the Sultan Qaboos Holy Quran Competition, said in a statement that this year, two new centres have been added for the competition's preliminary qualifiers in the wilayats of Al Jabal Al Akhdhar and Dima W'attayeen, bringing the total number of centres to 28, distributed across all governorates of Oman.
Al Balushi added that registration for the competition will remain open until July 7. He noted that the preliminary qualifiers will begin on August 3. — ONA
