SUHAR: The Department of Endowments and Religious Affairs in Al Batinah North Governorate, represented by the Preachers and Guidance Department, organised an awareness exhibition titled 'Nusuk' to introduce Haj rituals. The three-day exhibition is being held in the Wilayat of Suhar.
The exhibition features several sections designed to educate pilgrims on the spiritual preparation for Haj, etiquette of the journey, designated timings, types of rituals, and other key aspects related to performing Haj. It also includes dedicated segments on introducing Islam and promoting cultural exchange, alongside seminars and religious lectures held on the sidelines of the event.
A number of government and private institutions participated in the exhibition, including the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority, the General-Directorate of Social Development, the General-Directorate of Health Services, and the Zakat Committee in Suhar.
The programme also features awareness activities and interactive workshops aimed at explaining important rulings related to Haj rituals, as well as clarifying legal guidelines and organisational procedures to help pilgrims perform their rites with ease, tranquillity and confidence.
The exhibition was inaugurated under the auspices of Shaikh Saud bin Mohammed al Hinai, Wali of Suhar, in the presence of officials, stakeholders and members of the public.
