Civil society institutions forum opens in Al Kamil W'al Wafi

Al Kamil W'al Wafi: A civil society institutions’ forum code-named 'Imdad' (supply) was organised on Thursday in the Wilayat of Al Kamil W'al Wafi, Al Sharqiyah South Governorate, by the Omani Women's Association (OWA). The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of HH Sayyidah Thuraya bint Thuwaini al Said.
The forum saw the participation of specialists and parties interested in civil action and community development. It discussed ways to enhance the rate of integration and cooperation among civil society institutions in a manner that enables associations, clubs and charity teams to adopt sustainable practices and establish effective partnerships.
The aim is to contribute to achieving sustainable development and highlighting innovative initiatives in the civil society sector.
The forum's programme included panel discussions and a working paper on modern trends in the sustainability of civil society institutions.
The paper also dealt with means of developing community activities and initiatives to address future changes. - ONA
