OMSB Board of Trustees discusses new specialty programmes

MUSCAT: The Board of Trustees of Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB) on Thursday held its second meeting for 2026, chaired by Dr Hilal bin Ali al Sabti, Minister of Health and Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
The meeting discussed the accreditation of new specialty and local fellowship programmes within the board's curriculum, as well as the list of physicians applying for specialty programmes for the 2026-2027 academic year.
The Board also reviewed recent changes in training programmes and discussed internal accreditation reports for both programs and training centres, in addition to reviewing developments in professional competency affairs. — ONA
